These two episodes from Real Families Real Answers (TM) explore the process of raising children, both when they’re young and when they’re teens.
This episode introduces us to the Rowes (at Hill Air Force Base) and the Howards of St. Anthony, Idaho. The Rowes have 4 children and the Howards 10. Of course, the Rowes are a military family, which is intrinsically interesting, while the Howards help their 10 children learn through the means of a family raspberry patch. Both families deal with the problems of balancing love with limits, while giving their children latitude in their actions.
In this episode we meet the Parsons of San Antonio, who have an in home zoo that includes a kangaroo and a hedgehog; Janice Brooks-Nichter, a single mom with a teenage son in St. George, Utah; and the Willis family of Orange Park, Florida who have gatherings of teens in their home. These families find that love, time, and communication are essential for success.
